Sufra

Showcase concept

Find a table, book a majlis for six, pre-order and split the bill — with a Ramadan mode for iftar and suhoor, and a host-stand app for restaurants.

Client: Sufra
Year: 2026
Discipline: App Development
Scope: iOS · Android · Tablet · Arabic-first

(01)The challenge

Booking a group dinner in Riyadh or Dubai still meant phone calls, WhatsApp threads and a long wait for the bill.

Sufra wanted one bilingual app for the whole evening — and a simple tool for restaurant hosts to manage tables on busy nights.

(02)Our approach

We designed and built Sufra for iOS and Android in Arabic and English, with illustrated food art instead of stock photos. Group bookings check majlis capacity live, dishes can be ordered ahead to arrive with the guests, and the bill splits equally, by item or custom. Ramadan mode switches to a night palette with iftar countdowns, and a tablet app shows hosts the floor plan and tonight’s arrivals.
