(01)The challenge
A multi-clinic group in Dubai was answering thousands of messages a week by hand: bookings, “should I come in?” questions, fasting instructions, results.
Patients waited, staff were stretched, and little about the experience felt caring. Any automation had to be safe first — never diagnosing, always escalating.
(02)Our approach
We designed Ta’afi, a warm assistant that speaks Arabic, English and Urdu. It books real slots from the clinic calendar, runs a symptom pre-check that recommends a level of care with a clear disclaimer and 998 guidance for red flags, sends preparation and results reminders, and hands over to a nurse with full context. A clinic console surfaces live queues and AI insights such as unmet demand and trending questions.
