(01)The challenge

Parents in the Gulf wanted to teach children about money without handing them cash or their own cards.

Wafra needed an app that feels warm for families, playful for a nine-year-old, trustworthy for parents, and Sharia-compliant from the first screen.

(02)Our approach

We designed and built two experiences in one Arabic-first app for iOS and Android: a parent view for balances, allowances, limits and goals, and a child view with bigger type, chores that pay and goals they can watch grow. Right-to-left is built in throughout — from the mirrored keypad to progress bars that fill from the right — with prepaid cards designed to match.
