(01)The challenge

Venture-backed teams hold millions across checking, payroll and treasury accounts, yet most CFOs still rebuild runway in a spreadsheet every Monday.

Keelfield needed a product that made cash calm: one view, clear rules, and approvals that stand up in an audit.

(02)Our approach

We designed the product around a single figure — months of runway — with cash by account, a 12-month forecast with a confidence band, and a rule engine (“keep $2.5M in Operating, sweep the rest into T-bills”). Payments over a threshold need two approvers, with Face ID on iOS and a full activity log. It all runs on Keel UI, a design system of 180 components with tabular figures and light and dark themes.
