Sadu Atelier — Weave
A fifty-second collection film for a Kuwaiti atelier’s Ramadan 2027 abayas — from loom to light — with a woven title sequence, an indigo-and-madder grade, a lookbook of six looks and seven cut-downs.

(01)The challenge
Ramadan collections arrive in a flood of similar films: slow motion, gold light, a mosque silhouette.
Sadu Atelier’s “Weave” draws on Sadu, the Bedouin weaving of Kuwait, and needed a film that felt crafted rather than costumed.
(02)Our approach
We storyboarded seven shots that move from a loom macro to a thread of light, a Sadu pattern breaking into fabric, a walking silhouette and the six-look line-up. The grade comes from the dyes of the loom — shadows lift into indigo, reds lock to madder, highlights roll off like undyed wool — and the title is woven, not typed, in Arabic and English. The master is cut into seven versions for web and stories, alongside the lookbook and the collection page.
